All hype to get PR by the police and prosecutor. To get media attention.Couldn't agree more. If this was real trafficking why did the police watch women get abused for months? The real reason is they were either interested in embarrassing Kraft because he is Trump's friend or in catching him so the Chief of Police can run for statewide office. If this was about sex traffickers how come no one was arrested on that charge. They watched those women engage in "Sex Slavery" for months but the only thing they brag about during the press conference is the famous Johns they arrested. No organized crime! Good use of tax dollars spending millions for a few non-felony arrests. Anyone can close a massage parlor in one day. The could have used the health dept., licensing dept, an undercover cop, or building codes day one to close the place and liberate the women. Their behavior confirms freeing "sex slaves" was not their primary concern.
As opposed to - Nothing to see here but consenting adults.
Oh, the owner of the spa was 58 years old, the masseuses 39 and 40 something. If they were victims, would they be charged with prostitution, have assets seized or still be in jail?
This is the only place the word is used today:
"Most men charged for the first time with soliciting are eligible for a diversion program where they pay a $5,000 fine, perform 100 hours of community service and attend a class where they learn about the dangers of prostitution and how it is often tied to human trafficking."
