I believe confidentiality in the hobby should be treated like confidentiality in the mafia. But I recently read a news story about a tabloid who outed a Canadian lawyer who workered as a provider to pay her way through law school. There have been other instances when both providers and hobbyists outed others when they were arrested, went insane, found religion, etc. We all have a lot to lose if we're outed. Just curious what others think about confidentiality. Has anyone showed up to a doctors appointment and realized your knee surgeon was a client? Has anyone seen a politician on tv you realized was a client? Have you ever had the akward moment of passing a provider with your SO? Do you delete your emails after appointments to protect your clients instead of saving them in folders labeled by cities?
