Banned?

XAVIER's avatar shows a label as "Banned", yet he has posted a review and posted followups to it.

Could someone among the MODs clarify what it means to this community for a member to become BANNED? What infraction might bring about this judgment, and what penalties are attached, and for how long?

Sincerely and respectfully requested,

Randy (not acting as the rogue in this case)

But this is not about XAVIER, nor evading, but about the implications and penalties suffered in being BANNED. It is curious to see XAVIER, a banned member (?) posting. But this is not about XAVIER.

The question remains open and I hope to read a S.M.A.R.T. answer:
S.pecific
M.easureable
A.ttainable
R.ealistic
T.angible.

Please?

Thanks,

No rr they can't if the poster has half a brain, it's an ongoing problem. I'm not going to post a primer on how to do it, but you can find one if you know where to look.

I like the fact the Eccie does not have a shitload of rules spelled out. ASPD had some that did not make much sense.

The rule of common sense is applied here. If you don't have any, they will let you know.

There was no harm in asking, I hope.

Apparently the information is not available.
As for 'common sense', it differs in every community, family, etc.
Hence the slave owning founding fathers signed on the line that 'All men were created equal' - - - but it took 90 years and a civil war and 100 years after that before Congress declared what 'equal' meant in the Civil Rights Act of 1964(?).

I do not mean to demean the owners and mods of this site by loosely comparing them to MC's and Senators.

I applaud the greater freedom of expression allowed thus far.

I am not asking why X. was banned. Rather I wonder what will merit the 'ban' stamp; and what penalties will be imposed upon the offender; and how that is considered in the light of a 'banned' member (no matter whom) still posting?

What does it mean to be banned in practical tangible terms?

Is it not a fair question?

With all respect to the owners and Mods,
