"Searching" is limited?

It seems that one can not search under the acronyms such as "gfe, cim, or pse" as examples. Is there a letter limit for searching?

I'm not sure if there is the same 5 letter limit like at the old place, but over there if you wanted to search for less than 5 letters you added a * or two as needed.
