Any recommendations on good food?

Came to lake Charles for casino but would love some good eats out here. Anyone suggest a great southern restaurant?

Going to lake Charles instead is like going to daddy’s house after a break up. He only got one PlayStation controller, not the best snacks, and he can’t cook like mama do in New Orleans.

Um not sure if Manchu's is still open, i haven't went since middle school, but it legit remains to be the best fried chicken wings ive ever had in my life. Its a place that NEVER gets mentioned when talking about nola places to eat at. Seriously the chicken there has a unique flavor that is COMPLETELY different from the norm fried chicken recipes.

Even tho i haven't been there since middle school ill always deem that place as the best chicken wing stop in Nola. I plan to go back soon for some great nostalgia eating. Im hoping it's still as good and hyped as i remember.
