So proud to be a SHOCKER
Me too! Go Shockers!!!
At this point the only question is....can they run the table?
Shame they get no respect still have to win their tournament to get a #1 seed.

From Sweet 16 in 2006 (Turgeon),an NIT championship in 2011 for WSU, in the NCAA tournament in 2012, and the Final Four in 2013... I wish that the Shox would get more respect. If they don't... well that's just another reason they will Play Angry.

Go Shox!
It's conversations like this that remind me that you people all also live in Wichita. KU fan myself, but I'm willing to root for the Shocks to lose to KU in the national championship.

I was happy they went 31-0. Wichita State's problem is they haven't really played anyone. Yes, they have dominated who they have played but their strength of schedule before yesterday's game was 107. Makes it difficult to know just how good they are. They need to dominate the tournament in St Louis and then make a big run in the NCAA again like last year. They need to improve their non-conference schedule (think Boise State in football) and continue to dominate the conference.

I agree that their schedule could have been a little harder. But I don't think it was so easy we are talking about a perfect season, there is a reason we have rankings and they are ranked #2.

Last year they did not have a perfect season, and did not win their tournament but they still made it to the final four and lost to the champs by 4 points.

I still can't get over how they blew that lead in that game

The comment about dominating their tournament and going far in the tournament was not a comment about the quality of the team... it was a statement about gaining respect. They can't get that playing the schedule they are playing. They have to damn near win the tournament for the second year in a row.

Who was in the top 25 at the time the Shockers played them?

Their #2 ranking is a combination of respect for going to the final four last year and an undefeated season. A very good combination of events.

Everybody agrees their strength of schedule wasn't good. So do you all think they should be a #1 seed in the tournament?

How far will they go this time?

I think they are a #2 seed and will go to the sweet 16.

I'd love to see the WSU and KU play, preferably very late in the tournament!

They won at St. Louis Billikens. They were not ranked at the time but currenlty they # 10
