What does verified provider mean?

I see that the providers have gone through some kind of verification process - what does that entail. Do I need to do the same from my end?

Female members of the board can get verified provider status, after being vouched by existing members as legitimate providers. This gives them the ability to post ads. There is no equivalent for male members.

It also gets the Provider access to the Powder Room, where only females can go! It is a great source of information and even a place to rant a bit when you feel like it! That only is worth it! LOL
