This doesn't make sense. Harry Reid is blocking all attempts to bring the repeal of Obamacare to a vote in the Senate. What? Is he afraid the repeal might pass? I doubt it. That won't happen. And if Saints be Praised the repeal did pass the Senate, I think we can be pretty sure that President Obama would veto it. That's my prediction, but I'm pretty confident of this one.
So why block the vote? I thought Obamacare was popular, and is a boon to the economy and health care? Why not let the Senate Republicans embarrass themselves by voting for repeal. Get them on record, and use that vote against them in the campaigns of those up for re-election. It might help the Democrats increase their majority.
Some Democrats up for re-election are needing some help. A vote against repeal would show how they support the President, and would solidify their support.
This is a win-win, Harry! Let them vote!
