Avatars? Rules? Regulations? Guidlines?

I am in a feisty mood and want to change my avatar to something racy or fun or sexually funny. I searched but I can't find any rules about what we can and can't post there. I don't want to get in trouble even though I LOVE spanking *Blushing*
I think avatars just have to abide by the Image Standards.

1) Pornography - Sex is one of many frequently discussed topics here at ECCIE.net. We do not want to be too restrictive when it comes to discussions which pertain to sexual subject matter or erotic-themed images, however we do ask that that you refrain from posting images of yourself engaging in any type of sexual conduct. In addition to this, posted images or videos which can be classified as "pornography" should be avoided. This includes avatars, linked images, or URL links which direct to sites that include pornographic images or video.

2) Partial nudity allowed - Partial nudity is ok, however there are limitations that we would like for you to follow when posting images of yourself or others in our public forums. You may post photos which include various nude poses, front and rear, however we do not allow photos which show direct exposed genitalia. Breasts which are exposed are acceptable, but shots which show genitalia (below the waist, front or rear) from any angle should be avoided. This applies in all of our coed public forums, including the Showcase.

Okay, so the one I did fits the rules and regulations. Thank You
Next question, can you get in trouble for sexxxually harassing a Mod on an escort site?

Since I’m “The Drummer”, I obviously looked for a drum-themed avatar. I stumbled upon a very funny image of a baby sitting on a drum throne behind a huge kit that dwarfed him, wailing away, sticks in hand, with this priceless, intense look on his face.

Mind you; this was a baby, not a toddler, not a prepubescent, not a “tween”, what have you.

After receiving a PM from one of the Mods, I realized the error of my ways: “No images of children allowed”. I immediately took the avatar down and replaced it.

What a sick world we live in when a cute picture can be possibly conceived as anything else.

Respectfully yours.

it is strange how PC we must be on a non-PC board.

its all in the cash. this country needs a good non-pc cc company.

Jack, I know you quoted the rules in an above post, but it appears that according to an admin recently, that perhaps the rules have been relaxed quite a bit as has been seen in some posts lately. I know in the past, upstate mods have been following the rules as they understood them. So when I brought it to their attention about a specific pic (that was more revealing than others that had been ruled out in the past) it was "moderated". Surprisingly the decision was overruled by an admin. Now I have absolutely no clue what is acceptable and what isn't and I am willing to bet the mods are in a similar situation. The mods have a tough job and it is even harder with someone looking over your shoulder all the time second guessing you. Maybe we can get some clarification on this so people can move forward and everyone is on the same page.
I do recall a clarification that the Image Standards do not apply to "private" areas in ROS or ML.

That is correct, but it is not consistent with what we have been told in the past.

GP,

You are spot on there was some question but the reality is that the rules that Jack shared are the ones we have to live by!

Lexxy, I personally DON'T see that as harassment of course ... the spanking IS coming your way!
