What did we learn from the eclipse?

Here, near Kansas City, we experienced the most of the eclipse. For about 15 minutes the light dimmed and temperatures went down. Not only that, weather changed. We were forecast a 20% chance of rain and instead we got a downpour that we haven't seen in some time. That little bit of darkness or near darkness upset everything. The left wing environmental nut jobs ignore the effects of the sun and focus on the works of man. 15 minutes changed the weather. The last time that any credience was given to a manmade action causing that kind of rain were massive bombing raids over Japan and Germany. The absence of the sun did it in less time than a porn movie.
