What is the best area to stay in as far as Baton Rouge is concerned?

I am wanting to come over to visit maybe tomorrow thru thurs, to see the 13th gate and was wondering if east was ok or Baton Rouge itself? It had been over a yr since my last visit under my old name and love the area alot

There's a Sheraton right next to the 13th Gate which is right next to a casino. Are you talking about the east side of BR?

There's only 2 main areas on the east side along I12 and they're Airline and Sherwood. The Airline area right off 12 has a Motel 6 and a couple of other motels. Not very long ago a SW was found by a dumpster at the Motel 6 and local businesses were complaining about how bad the area is going down. Sherwood has a Super 8 and a couple of other motels. The better areas are College Drive at I10, Essen Ln, and Corporate Blvd. BR is a smaller town so any of these areas won't be very much farther from each other and the 13th Gate.

Only stay off College/corporate or bluebonnet. Perfectly central and upscale. Avoid airline/seigan/Essen areas. Pm me if you need anything while here:-). Our br gentlemen are awesome!
