Never heard of such a thing in The Triangle. Why would you want to go from being independent to having someone manage your business & take a cut and no risk to themselves?
I was considering possibly trying it just for extra work for the simple fact of how slow its been... It's been rough, not sure what the issue is I just assumed this wasn't a good place for my line of work ?!
This area has been such a dead zone for the last five years, maybe that is what is impacting your business. Just keep putting yourself out there, and of course, be careful! Nothing is more important than your safety.

Ruby I have to say this area follows cycles, when there are a lot of turn around or major new construction and times are good business is probably good and of the opposite happens as well. I hope you can stick it out and stay indy, I know some guys, very few, prefer a service but I agree with hunter stay independent as long as you can.
I will try my best to help a single mother haha, as soon as I can.
Thanks yall. I honestly thought bc of all the plants out here it would be flooded with men wanting quality women. But it seems to be quite the opposite. I'm not sure what my next move is. I was contemplating traveling a little in texas maybe go here and there for a week or so but I have no idea where to go. I've been told by alot of People I should try Houston but honestly it's too crazy out there for my liking and entirely too big lol

Simple Economics supply & demand, cost vs value. The STG & EA are 90% fake or deposit scams, guys get weary of getting ripped off, rates on TRYST are way out of line, economy due to government incompetence, all these things contribute to the decline in hobby activity. It may be the worlds oldest profession but it’s a luxury not a necessity and subject to fluctuations because of these factors.

RubyRaw, the only suggestion I have is ...
1) Find and build relationships with regulars you like in your home area and treat them real well. That does not mean every hobbyist in your area who visits you. It means those whom you truly enjoy spending time with. Give them a few extra perks. You decide what those perks are. The important part is to enjoy your time on your home turf with clients you like.
2) Travel occassionally but not enough that your regulars find someone else or get frustrated they cannot see you enough.
3) Travel to places that seem to be HOT (hobby wise) even if it is the BIG CITY. Make your ROAD TRIPS all business. Decide how many you are comfortable in seeing in one day. But make it your goal to fill each and every time slot so that you are bring home the bucks. This will help you make your time in your home area less stressful.

Maybe travel every other week or every 3rd week.

I'm just throwing out suggestions. I am not in your home area. Simply sharing information that coincides with something I enjoy with one of my regulars.

Good luck!!
Thanks yall, I really appreciate each of you taking the time to respond!
You could try coming to Tyler/Longview. I am sure several hobbyists in this are would love the chance to meet you. I know I'd be interested...
