Piezon’s Pizzeria - great wings and pastrami sandwich too
Lyle’s - and the Caesar salad is awesome
Williamsburg for NY style
Caniglia’s a Mano is really good
Dolomiti is a great new place
I didn’t care for Mootz much, thought it was just average and skimpy on toppings and cheese. There are a lot of solid pizza places in Omaha.
About 10 years ago I was just rolling through Omaha, realized I was hungry, and spotted some mom&pop pizza place. It was super good, and cheap. The place looked like it was once a small used-car lot perhaps.
I can't remember the name, and I've never been able to relocate it. I know it was somewhere over by 90tth street, and north of the interstate, south of Dodge.
I can’t believe LaCasa isn’t getting any love here. Their Hamburger pepperoni is my favorite pizza ever.
Honorable mention to Varsity, Spin, Pizza West, and Lighthouse. I loved My Pie but the one close to me closed so I never go to the other location. Big Fred’s is hit or miss and so is Mamas.
