So try getting a weekend at a decent hotel at a good rate.?! In New Braunsfel.. SOmething here I do not know about besides cold ass water? That is only enjoyable when its 100 degrees...

NB is crazy this time of year. It becomes very touristy, and the prices jump accordingly. You can drive up the road to Schertz, around exit 175 on I-35. There are several hotels there (Hampton Inn, Candlewood Suites, etc) that are around $110/nite
