Mama’s off Nacogdoches about 1 block outside loop 410 is good local southern home style place,
La Panaderia on Broadway just inside loop410 is a great locally owned Mexican Brunch place with artisan baked Mexican pastries and authentic Mexican bakery sandwiches aka Tortas.
And if you’d like an old fashioned Texan burger, Frontier Burger off the access road between Broadway and Nacogdoches is an old staple, be sure to have the original with shoe string onion rings.
Be sure to visit The Pearl and don’t miss Mon Chou Chou, Southerleighs and Cured plus lots of other cool places there and also visit The Rim with lots of good places there too.
Avoid the Riverwalk downtown to eat and if you wanna splurge, Bohanans is phenomenal and in King William area don’t miss Maverick and Rosario’s restaurants especially Rosario’s roof top bar.
PM me if you need a foodie partner lol
Near 410 and Harry Wurzbach is the Comfort Cafe. It's only ope Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, breakfast and lunch, but it's excellent. All dishes $15 donation, and the proceeds go to an addiction recovery program
Make your way to Southerleigh Fine Food And Brewery at the Emma hotel then have cocktails at Sternewirth. It's just a few.miles south of the airport area. We'll worth a visit.
