Account deletion question?

Just wondering, ... when a person requests for his account to be deleted, do all of his posts, reviews, etc get deleted also, or do the live on forever on ECCIE?

Typically the account name is changed to "guestxxxx". All their posts remain, just the name changed.

Your account is listed as "Disabled", and nothing that you posted is deleted. It is very very very rare for anything to get deleted on this site.

What you post on the internet, stays on the internet forever. Never forget that.

The only time an account is listed as "Guestxxxx" is when a member tells the staff (and can prove) that their personal info was leaked and their safety is at risk.
