I had the chance what seems a lifetime ago to have asked Emmitt Smith who was the greatest running back of all time (because at the time there were your typical sports-talk radio arguments going on about Emmitt and Barry Saunders - who had retired early in his career.). Emmitt said without hesitation, "Jim Brown". He then explained in some emotional detail how great a human being Jim Brown was. Originally Posted by cowboy_john
