Come out, come out wherever you are......
So I received a text this morning cancelling an appointment for tonight and it seemed a little bullshit so I got some additional information.
It appears that someone who claims to have seen me is recommending that people cancel with me.
Someone that has not had the courtesy to say anything to me at all or write a poor review and apparently had no issue with my service but has, conveniently enough, decided to interfere with my business.
So whomever you may be.....if you have an issue with me you are welcome to email me and discuss it.
And to the gentlemen, be sure that the person from whom you are receiving advice has actually seen the woman in question.
This isn't highschool folks, grow up. I shouldn't have to put this out there.
then why did you? doesnt it just kinda go with the business? i have seen providers and have not done a review and gave a no recomendation to friends. and gave a yes to others ..whats the big deal?
Deacon, I have no idea who it is. But I strongly suspect that this "recommendation" was given by either a woman under a male account or a guy that I haven't seen. I have no idea who the person is, but if it is ACTUALLY a legitimate issue then I have no other way to ask the person to contact me.
And it isn't about reviews. I usually make my reservations and PAY for said reservations the day before. Had I not ended up spending the night at my sister's I would now have an expensive empty hotel room. That is an issue. Only dumb luck has put me in a position that doesn't involve me losing money. The cancellation itself is fine, it is the idea that someone is so petty that they have to either go behind my back instead of telling me honestly that they have a problem or that someone on this board has decided to hurt me.
And no, people deliberately trying to ruin my business is not acceptable to me. But nice try.
Oh and this was a date that was scheduled over a week ago.
He also specified that it had nothing to do with the service received.
so what.. i fail to see the drama. a lot of things can happen in 24 hours. let alone a week..poor you get over it. you sound paranoid to me. sound like you might need a tin foil hat. lmao...btw..im not "trying' to do anything..nice try though.
So you CLAIM to have enough info to know the reason for the cancellation was that someone who said they saw you is now recommending others to cancel you?
So apparantly, according to your "add'l info" whoever this person is, they have contact MORE than just the one person....but of the people who have/had set up an appt with you...you can garner NO add'l info about this person who is trying to mess with you???
How did u obtain ur add'l info...w/o any real details...in the first place?????
Are u getting more than one cancellations??? Have any of these people who are cancelling appts, told you about someone contacting them about you, and if so, they don't give you no add'l info??
And let me get this right....you pay for a hotel room, the day before??? I know this is typical in the real world, but in hobby land, which cancellations or NS being an unfortunate part of the business equation...it would seem paying ahead of time w/o a solid booking (which you apparently did not have) would seem unwise.
Or maybe this is nothing more than a cancellation...not a NS, which would be uncool...
but a cancellation which is now being blown up for something else.
Seems like there are some pieces to this puzzle that don't exactly fit???
Not making any accusations or claiming any inside info.
Just responding to your thread with a couple of questions.
Just going to point a couple of things out here.
1. Not all guys write reviews. Some would rather not write a review if he had a bad time. Unless you ask, you're never going to know.
2. If indeed this person has saw you and does in fact have an issue with you, maybe he's uncomfortable with confronting you based upon your reaction to some threads on here and/or other websites (if you're a member of other websites).
3. Guys don't need mine, yours or anyone else's permission to send out emails/PM's/instant messages/etc recommending or telling other guys to go visit or stay away from a certain lady.
Your best bet would've been to try and get as much info from the guy who cancelled on you. Then do your research and keep it off the board until you had proof of who it was/is doing this to you.
Its pretty much a cardinal rule in hobby land to try and keep drama away from the hobbyists because they can get that at home. This is their fantasyland, to escape the drama.
Just my 2cents.

Go back and read your posts and try to look at them from a guy's point of view. Then ask yourself would you want to come see you. Sorry this isn't meant as an attack or trying to ply on. Just trying to tell you that sometimes less is more.
Right on MsElena, especially the part about cardinal rule!

some people are just sadists. They get off on hurting someone for no reason. Thats why I don't advertise here. Too much drama if you ask me.
Chickens coming home to roost... Everyone reserves the right to see whomever they choose to see, and yes ma'am, that extends to both providers and hobbyists. You have a Powder Room, we have a Men's Lounge. You have a Do Not See List, so do hobbyists. Would you see a guy whose name was on the DNS list, no matter the motivation of the poster? You find out that there really are consequences for some of your actions and you are shocked?!? I do find it funny that you are already attempting to cast doubt upon and discredit the source, and you have no idea who the source is. Preemptive deniability?
