BB code help

I trying to rename my review links in my signature to get under the 500 char limit, but none of the bb code that names links works they show the full link with the name after it. I know it is possible being it was done in this ad her showcase link at the bottom of the ad: http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=110643
