Pre-Paid Staight Talk Android "hobby phone" for sale - $90

I realize that rarely are there threads with items for sale here on ECCIE in KC (I can remember Dirty Dog's posts where he wanted to move a few handguns and a couple of other similar posts in KC a while back), and I suppose the sandbox is as good as any place to list something for sale . . . I'd rather not list it for sale in the national threads as I don't want to ship the phone, I'd rather just meet publicly (or have Dale, who I work with from time to time as security on the road, from the old Plaza Escorts meet you) and sell it locally as it may be of interest to someone here in the endeavor in KC, so, well, here goes . . .

I have this phone: http://www.shopstraighttalk.com/bpdi...ionId=12383440 which, as you can see by clicking the link, I paid $179.00 plus tax for, purchased only a few short months ago. It is an Android with a physical slide-out keyboard for easy texting or for answering an email, PM or updating a posting on ECCIE with a browser! I was going to use Straight Talk as my personal "burner" phone, but then when I decided to come back to the business (soon) full-time and I remembered that this phone ONLY works where there is access to the Sprint CDMA network (Straight Talk phones do not roam) I realized that I need to dump it, as in some of the places I tour the phone will have poor reception and in other places it will not have any reception at all. The phone works wonderfully on the Sprint network in the KC metro, Lawrence, Topeka, etc. - I've only had the phone a few short months and it has seen very light use, as I mentioned. Outside of the Sprint network, the phone is a brick.

I've cleaned the phone up (there's nary a scratch on it) and I have done a hard reset on the phone and set it to the factory default as if you were turning it on for the first time. It is ready to go, all it needs is a $45 service card from Walmart. If you buy the phone, I'll provide you instructions on how to activate it anonymously and use the phone by paying cash every month (it requires an unlimited $45/mo card to work on their network).

So, if you'd like a great Android phone at a hell of a price (I'd like to get at least half what I paid for it, at least $90.00), please contact me via email (no PMs please, it will just fill the box up and I'm almost full now - I know, I really need to clean it out, sorry!) with your details and info and I'll get back with you in the order the offers are received. Please email me at: jackie@jackiedevlin.com - or, I guess you could reply with your interest in the thread and I'll email you back!

BTW, If a lady is interested in it, I've got a cute blue case to go with the phone, which I'll include at no charge (the case is still in it's original packaging, I never got around to putting it on, the phone was used THAT infrequently). In fact, since the case will be of no use to me, whoever buys the phone can have it, LOL - if you don't want it, sell it on eBay or throw it away.

I'll update the thread when the phone sells and ask Fritz to close / delete the thread at that time. As this would make an AWESOME phone for a working lady or a gentleman that might want to use Google Voice or other Android apps with his "hobby phone", I thought I would throw it up on the board and see if anyone here might want it prior to my listing it on CL.

Thanks!

Kisses,

- Jackie
For all that wish to respond to Jackie's ad to make an offer, please PM her or respond via e-mail to her e-mail address rather than post in the thread. If you have a question about the phone, that would be OK to post in the thread, as it may be a question that others may have and Jackie's response will provide valuable information.
Thanks Fritz!

Kisses,

- Jackie

Fritz, the phone has been sold - could you please close the thread (and the corresponding thread in Infoshare)?? Thanks so much! I'm sure if you wanted to remove the thread(s) from view altogether, no one would have any objection.

(Less than three hours to sell - and I got more than my asking price! THANKS! Maybe there should be a "For Sale" thread locally, in KC, for "other" goods - LOL)
