2 Local Pro Sports Teams are peaking at just the right time...

It’s nearing Playoff time for the NBA and NHL and the Mavs & Stars are peaking nicely.

The Mavs were sorta floundering a few weeks ago as a ‘Play In’ post season team, unable to hang with the younger more athletic teams. The trade deadline hits, a couple of good pickups, Luka & Kyrie have seemingly finally jelled and we’re pushing the Clips for the 4th seed in the West with the longest current win streak in the NBA...Go Mavs!!

The Stars have been good all year but seemed to struggle against the Top NHL Tier. Those days seem gone now as they have taken over the Western Conference...Go Stars!!
The mavs are rocking the nba even though the nba hates it. Nba can deny the luka mavs no more
I honestly was expecting to hopefully split against the Jazz and Kings (especially) on this road trip.. they surprised me by taking all of them. Then going up against the hottest team in the NBA (Rockets)... shut them down and kept them in check in the 2nd half.. that was impressive. This team could be a scary team in the playoffs and I am all for it.

I follow the Stars more and they have been great all year. They struggled against some of the top teams here and there but they have always been near the top of the conference. Taking first in the west was great and being in the Presidents cup race is exciting.

Having both in the playoffs this year is going to be great. Just dont want another double game 7 day like a couple of years ago... fun day but.. yeah too much excitement lol

The Stars have made it to the WC final for the 2nd year in a row. Being a season ticket holder, I enjoy not only taking others to the games with me for a fraction of the retail price (thanks to a few guys on this site, no more reviews of providers I take), but also when I cannot go, selling the tickets to others for 5 times the price on the ticket sites and making money.

Let’s get this thread back on track, no one gives a shit about season ticket holders!!

The Mavs tip off their series with Timberwolves tonight!! Going to be another tough physical series, but I am picking the Mavs in 6…Luka & Kyrie are leading their Crew like no one else in the Playoffs!! …GO MAVS!!!

The Stars begin their series against the resurgent Edmonton Oilers tomorrow night with the Stars having home ice advantage in the series…Dallas won 2 of 3 against the Oilers this regular season, 2 games split by one goal difference each and one 5-0 blowout by the Stars in the last game…GO STARS!!!
I like the Mavs in 6, too. I hope we're right!

The Stars are a very good team. I have watched a lot of play-off hockey this year and they have some very skilled players and a great offensive goal scoring strategy. Great passing skills and the ability to hit the open man for the shot on goal.

Don't support the Mavericks ever since 5 years ago they succumbed to MeToo BULLSHIT and got rid of their hot dancers and replace them with a new dancing team that is conservative and have guys, most likely guys belonging to that group with the acronyms, acting all effeminate and fairy.

It is so great to see the Dallas teams do so well, especially after the Rangers just won the World Series. That just leaves the Cowboys, who have not been to a championship game this century yet.

For the Stars, the special teams killed them in the WCF. Looks like it is all about the Mavs!

Yeah, The Stars had no power play. Tons of shots on goal and effort but Edmonton took quick advantage of their opportunities and must have one hell of a goalie.
