... Over Australia-way - we have the Babadook.

"... and the Monster came - and had no shame."

... The Babadook has been mentioned on other sites.

Woe the Babadook - a horrible monster that creeps
about each day - haunting our dreams and reality.

The Monster never sleeps - just comes 'round to
make the villagers miserable. Day after day.

The villagers have even left gifts for the
Babadook - in good effort to slow his advance.
Gifts of praise and friendship - onley to have
THAT spit back at them.

There is a fine Castle that overlooks the
village - offouring a welcome respite. For the
Castle is the proper light of the village
- a great light that all the villagers appreciate.

The Castle it-self must stand tall and strong
- and is honoured and at times protected by
the same villagers who love gathering there.

But this Babadook as GROWN INTO A MONSTER.
And MANY of the villagers must make a decision,
as some have chosen to leave.

The villagers may need to storm the Castle
- to protect not-onley the village, but the
Castle it-self.

The beauty of this thread is that you can interpret the OP however you wish.

McDingDong's joking about Oeb's current unpopularity among some. Some on the left dislike his references to DPST's and cold dead hands and the like. And some on the right would like for him to consolidate his threads. I personally believe that his DPST references, like MatchingMole's memes, add to the ambience of the forum and make it a more interesting place to hang around. And I have similar sentiments, directed towards Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and even my beloved AOC, although not towards our brothers and sisters who post here.

Oeb did however kind of set me off when I read this, about the COVID vaccine,

But then I thought about it a little more. Trump got the jab. That means he's a Democrat. I've been saying that here for years and Oeb's the first one to agree with me. So as usual we're on the same page, two economic conservatives and social liberals.

My interpretation of Salty Again's post is a bit more subtle than McDingDong's. Australia has some monstrously ugly Sheila's, and the most monstrous and ugly is Gina Rinehart. Google her. Now there's not much you can do about ugly. But your typical woman is monstrous because she's not getting enough dick. And this is where Winn Dixie comes in. He's god's gift to ugly women. Please recall his posts about banging Nancy Pelosi. Also note above that he says the Babadook only comes around between 11:00 PM and 3:30 AM. This is probably because he doesn't want his neighbors to see the butt ugly woman he's been banging. Once one of these Babadook's has had night of passion with WD she'll probably come by any time he tells her, even in the middle of the night. Anyway that's my interpretation.
