What is considered the nice side of town in Dallas?

I'll be coming to Dallas for 3 or 4 days following Vday this month
Safety is a top priority.
What area is the best place to stay?
Any hotel recommendations?
How do you feel about Airbnb for hosting?

Any tips?

If you use AirBnB, you risk having some nosy neighbors.

Omni. It's busy, it's got lots of traffic in and out the doors and through the lobby, you can hide everything in plain sight.

Omni near downtown is not very hobby friendly. The one in Richardson is much more friendly. Westin Park Central is nice.

Thanks! I'm leaning towards staying near the galleria. But I'll most likely wait to book a room until I scope it out.

My experience has been the opposite regarding the downtown Omni. Seen 3 different women there in the past year or so. Never heard anyone express concern before.

I’d say any areas not mentioned in this thread would probably be the better choice.
