For you that date

So I was in a deli a couple weeks ago, and overheard a couple younger gals talking about a date one of the gals had, and that gal said (to the other): "He was so attentive and polite, I noticed he was looking at my necklace, and he didn't interrupt at all when I told him the story about that, ..."
I had to walk to the other side of the room and examine what was in a vending machine.
