Hello. I have never been to Lincoln. What is the best area to stay in and what area(s) should be avoided?
Any and all info in regards to the city will be appreciated.

Avoid downtown (although if you're visiting, definitely check out some restaurants in the hay market and rail yard! Or if you want a cocktail, check out the hidden speakeasy). South lincoln is a nice area to stay in. This town is pretty small so it shouldn't take long for people to travel to you/vice versa.

Most providers stay:
...on N 27th St., north of Cornhusker Hwy there are a number of decent motels with low rates, including a Reed Roof Inn, Microtel, La Quinta.
...near the airport, many possibilities, including Country Inn & Suites, Econolodge.
These are all safe areas.
