North Austin

Me and Nina thai are now visiting Austin and we are in downtown area.
There were so many complained about the location. So we thought of moving to north or Arboretum area. Will that be a good idea?

Arboretum is usually convenient, and the domain open-air mall is great for eats and shopping when your not 'otherwise' occupied.

Stay out of Williamson County. Some parts of the Austin city limits are in Williamson county. Round Rock is also in Williamson County.

Williamson County is Gestapo country. Even if you don't get hassled yourself, guys may cancel when they figure it out.

The Arboretum and the Domain area are safe. Williamson County starts about 3 miles past the Arboretum. It's not obvious without a map.

I-35 between 183 and a few miles north to Braker Ln. is streetwalker hotel country and is good to avoid, but not as bad as Willco.
