I’m visiting the area until Friday and would love some suggestions on fun things to do and great places to eat.

To do:
--take the team to the top of Sandia and hike
--bike the trail along the river
--head west and see Acoma Pueblo, then el Mal Pais.
--drive up to Santa Fe. Then along the gorge to Taos.

Eat:
--Jambo
--A Taste of India
--Barella's on 4th street
--Matanza
--Flying Star
--Laguna Burger
--The Corn Maiden
--Mario's Pizza

He can go on any hikes except if you take the tram...


There are some nice ditch walks down in the valley and along the river as well that you and your dog might enjoy... There's spectacular hiking up in SF and Taos as well.



I'll add some of my favorites:
- The Botanic Gardens and Zoo are some of the best in the country for a city this size
- Farinas gourmet pizza
- El Patron New Mexican restaurant
- Artichoke Cafe (great 'date night' kind of place
- Seasons patio/grill
- If you like Breaking Bad... check out some of the locations
- Michael Thomas Coffee or Napoli Coffee if you like coffee
- The Grove for breakfast
- Marble Brewery or Bose Brothers if you like beer
- Casa Rondena Winery if you like wine

All RedorGreenorXmas' suggestions are good. (OK, I have to disagree with Napoli--the coffee is a bit weak for my taste.)
