Asian Massage History

Just curious if anyone knows the history behind this. Why is it that most Asian massage places offer the extra services when other massage places do not even pretend to. It seems that it is only focused around Asian massage places. Is that custom practice is China?
Don't know about China, but pretty standard in Thailand, for a few extra $$$. Philippines, too.

most of the Asian spa's in the US aren't Chinese they are South Korean and almost all of them worked in the SK spa's as sex workers. so when they come here to work they know exactly what's expected and that's fine by them. they come here to make US bucks in the biz.

and not to make light of sex trafficking but it's all but nonexistent in the Asian spa's. they don't need it or want it, they have a nearly endless supply of willing girls to work.

trafficking does exist but it's far more a street level issue than the spa's.
Thanks for the info
