Grooming

I am curious, I know, and realize that most providers are either smooth, or only have landing strips. However I was wondering what they preferred in the hobbyists who visit with them. Do you prefer him to have a smooth twig and set of berries or a natural set? Also which do you mainly encounter??
Just curious and thought this would be an interesting topic to comment upon.
