Why are some local forums allowed political threads but not others

The OP here speaks to forums where we can discuss politics and mentions fairness which I appreciate being able to do in a few places within this site. There is also mention of 'other problems' which goes to how we conduct ourselves within these boards. I would hope to continue seeing those interested in topics political continue to post where they choose and express themselves whether those opinions are popular or not.

They don't want to take privileges from Pitt, because they'll be called the Pittsburgh STEALERS 🤣
