Fishing trip this weekend turned scary

5 men from Biloxi were in a fishing tournament this weekend, and their boat sank.

I have actually been in a sinking boat, but LUCKILY I was very close to land and only in the Bay. Very different situation than being out in the Gulf. I have had many close calls out on the water.

I highly recommend the EPIRB, just in case of an emergency.

Just saw something about that on the news and those guys were bragging on that very device. The gulf was rough and Coast Guard passed by them twice.

There are a lot of people who know what you need to wander out into the Gulf, their knowledge is very valuable... it's hard to explain, but it's pretty basic if you know what you are trying to do...
Just ask someone who knows what they are talking about.
