Since it isn't ECCIE... what is the best hobby board for DC?

It didn't take long to figure out ECCIE isn't the hobby board of choice for the DC area. Anyone got a suggestion on which one is most used?

The Erotic Review (TER) has the most reviews I've seen for ladies that frequent the DC area. Of course, access to complete reviews requires a paid VIP membership. Lately however, I've noticed that many reviewers type up what you really need to know in the first two lines of the review, which is available for free. This is great for non-VIP members like myself. Simply type in the provider's phone number (which you may find on BP for example) into the appropriate field within the search section of TER, and see if some reviews come up.

I no longer live there, but visit frequently. Historically, the best (as in most heavily trafficked) board used to be a toss up between the TER regional board and the BigDoggie escort board for DC. Each was a bit different, and tended to be dominated by different posters. That was for better or for worse. TER in particular was dominated by one person who had a tendency, at times, to intimidate others. BigDoggie seemed to have more of the tone of the ECCIE boards in terms of the interactions between providers and hobbyists.

AvenueX is another option as well.

Pass the word around and ECCIE will grow there as it has elsewhere.

I am certainly willing to try to help the Washington DC board grow since I visit there every 6 weeks or so!

Well, I am jumping in the mix here. Doesn't seem like a lot of folks to play with, but hey, every action causes a reaction.

TER and Big Doggie do have a strong following in DC. I've also found that Avenue X and Naughty Reviews to be very good. I get a lot of contacts from both.

You can also post on p411 as visitor - some of us look there. TER as mentioned, and if you reference p411, then non members can look there for more details.

I happen to have about 15 plus reviews on TER but those folks somehow won't make me a verified provider!! I better try bigdoggie then!!

A very mixxed bag. Some very, very reputable ladies advertize on there but in DC at least there are also a number of less than reputable ones. Good to look, but always crosscheck.

P411 and Date Check both have good sized DC area selections (many are the same ladies on both)

As someone who travels to DC frequently, but also to other areas, TER is the most active board. Believe ladies can advertise, within guidelines, on the TER DC discussion board every week. But, the ladies there usually depend on P411 or D-C for screening, not TER. There was an issue with TER being compromised by some of the suburban LE last year, but that has died down. Just need to be cautious and discreet in the DC area. Visiting providers are probably OK if they are discreet.

Most the LE issues were on the MD side of town, though not all. DC itself is usually fine if folks are discrete. The MD area between Univ of Md and Balt is not really great for several reasons, and that is usually where most the problems tend to be.

The two biggest issues recently (post DC Madam) that I know of were both a result of improper screening that led to a finger pointing squabble between the lady who was busted and the person who they counted on to screen. LE then played one against the other.

I don't know of any reputable independents who have had problems recently.
