best steak house in north dallas?

So I know Dallas has some of the best, but wanted to see what eccie land had to say. I'm wanting to go eat with some friends for my birthday and wanted to try something new =)

Believe it or not, Pappas Bros. Steakhouse is voted No. 1 by D Magazine. And I would definitely agree. I've been there a few times, and their food and service never failed to satisfy my picky habits.

The one on Harry Hines is my favorite. A LOT classier than you would expect from the address. Steaks are Misquitte-broyled on BIG grills lining one side of the main dining room. I've never made reservations - seating for parties of 2 to 6 are almost always immediately available.
