I'll miss him

I was never a big trekkie, but the few times I watched it I thought Nimoy was twice the actor Shatner was. His performances were laughable

RIP Mr Spock

His portrayal of Spock and the way he interacted with Kirk gave rise to story lines in comics and tv shows where the star found themselves less popular than the costar. It happened again in the 70's with Happy Days between Richie and The Fonz.
I believe it was also parodied in the movie Galaxy Quest.

If we're going into the archives I would also mention the interaction between Ted Baxter and Lou on the MTM show. The best of all was Barney and Andy. I still watch it.
