Provider Ads

I'm just curious why the providers have been instructed to not disclose rates on their ads. I understand not providing activities. That makes sense, and I was always thought it odd for a provider to list activities. If we want to know activities, that is what the review section is for. However, limiting their ability to post hourly rates and specials seems ridiculous to me. It is an advertisement after all. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Here is the official statement that went out:

In order to comply with legal standards, content of ads/posts in public forums may not contain any mention of sexual services or rates. This includes the title and body of the ad or post and your signature line.

Please refrain from listing rates or specific sexual acts INCLUDING GFE in your posts in these forums. Also, please remove any references to rates or specific services in your signatures ASAP.

You may add links to your Showcase, websites, Prefered411, and other locations to obtain rates and services in your post. If you do not yet have a showcase, Prefered411 account, or website we encourage you to get one ASAP.

We are editing all current posts in these forums to conform to the new requirements. Please ask any of the staff if you need some guidance or assistance on building an effective ad which remains in compliance with legal standards.

We understand this is very different from the past and appreciate the time and effort you have given to making your ads the best possible but these changes are required to comply with legal standards.

Thank you for your cooperation.
