Fun Things In Shreveport?

I have recieved a BUNCH of free advertising by some gentlemen in Austin, and its becme aparent that Shreveport is my next destination.

For those of you unfamiliar with me, I travel not ONLY to see appoinments, but also to see the city.

And I'm going to be honest...I know NOTHING of Shreveport.

What should I do?
Where should I visit?
Anything historical? (Bear in mind I've been in America for about a year..so some American history is lost on me...)
Anything fun?
Good food?

Obviously the casinos draw the most attention. But there really is quite a bit of good dining, shopping, etc. here.

Iffin you could kinda narrow it down to what you like to do, food you enjoy, and all that kinda stuff I'd be more than happy to assist.
