Gotta Have Thick Skin for This Business

I've always been the quiet shy girl that tries to avoid conflict. Rude, hateful people use to hurt me, sending me home crying and wishing I was someone better. But since I became a provider I learned to ignore the bullshit and keep pressing forward. No one has time for an emotional nutcase. Tears aren't sexy unless their the result of a wet and wild deep throat session.

Thick skin is needed. There are assholes and time wasters at every turn. Most guys get off by putting a girl down, calling her fat or ugly, shorting her fees, etc. Hell I had some guy just now walk in and say "you're fatter than your pictures" and leave without another word. Oh well, his lost.

Of course there are great men out there that are respectful and caring. They are the ones that make this business worthwhile

It did make me LOL. Didn't know if it would be rude to laugh though. The blog title was the best lol
Well said, Danielle, like you said, his loss. The client who decided you weren't good enough isn't worth your time anyway. Like one of the characters in the movie Risky Business said "My time, my effort, my infinite patience and understanding." I feel that this sums up how most of us providers feel, lol, so chin up, boobs out, it's all going to be alright. ;-)

He had an ugly mole on his nose the size of both of my nipples put together. It was like looking at a small head growing from his nose. Oh well...the next city will be better.

I have one provider who goes beyond and above call to please me. So when we have pillow talk - some of the things she's told me about the insults she's received is very upsetting. If there's a provider I see online and I'm not attracted to her - I just scroll past her ad! It's just that simple! But your life has to be awfully miserable to stop and take the time to send someone an insulting message in regards to their looks. I admire the conviction of a lot of you ladies - you keep a lot of us happy, with very little fanfare. Hate to hear about ass hats giving you guys a hard time.

Ditto! I've learned so many new foolishness aversion techniques since I started providing.

Thick skin is one requirement. Not allowing bullies to bully is another. Don't be a VICTIM!
Definitely don't be a bitter provider nor a bitter hobbyist.Smile. Complement. Be Kind. Never stop learning about how to STAY SAFE. Help others stay safe to the best of you ability. If your a decent person your actions will show that.
