Happens Brother. A man will let his little head lead him to places his big head won't let him go with a loaded pistol...

You’d think she’d use a sexier handle than “Sailor.” Lol
No jab here Menace but anyone who talks that whole cashapp crap is a no for me and I move on. If they don’t want my cash from my hands then too bad.
There’s too much bullshit these days with people scamming.
No harm no foul...you learned your lesson.

^^^

Must often means they are managed by a pimp, not necessarily fake. A sure sign of scams are when the ad shows up in multiple cities at the same time

There is a "Report this Post" button for escort alligator. I'd go that route.

Sniffing out a scam can be tedious but always worth the effort. It usually just boils down to three or four criteria. Rarely fails.

I also spoke to her about 2 weeks ago, she was ready to meet and handle business but she wanted me to provide a work location - for multiple days, for her and her "friend" who was a stand-up guy, according to her. Called and texted all day after begging and pleading for a warm place to stay. Crazy.

I really don’t think the best hobbyists (don’t consider myself in that group - lol) would have provided funds before meeting.

I got taken in Ocala Florida after research as well. It just happens if you hobby enough. Happened to me and I'm a Genius. LOL
Been a long time since I have been scammed. If they don't want cash at the time of services rendered, nevermind. I never have and never will send money in advance, no matter what. I trust them about as much as they trust me. Sorry you got taken, just learn from it.
Never beforehand. A lot of em try to ask where you are beforehand to give you a fake address for future reference.
