I will be visiting your fine city for the first time.
Any suggestions on safest, most convenient areas to stay?
I am also interested in sights to see, places to visit (I love Country Music).
Last but not least any restaurant options for vegetarians?
There is a replica of the Greek Parthenon in Centennial Park that is full of artwork. Very near there is the Frist Museum of Art.
The original Grand Ole Opry House is on Lower Broadway amongst the honky tanks. The Country Music Museum is downtown near the convention center.
Downtown Hotels are crazy expensive as is parking. Hotels near the airport are less expensive and no charge for parking.
I sent you a PM here with info about vegan/vegetarian dining.Hope you enjoy your visit...
Doesn't appear that my PM went through. Anyway Nashville has a large selection of vegetarian/vegan eateries. I am a pescatarian that really enjoys the food at Woodlands Indian Vegetarian Restaurant on West End Ave near Vanderbilt Univerity. A internet search will uncover many vegetarian spots all over town
Btw, we are scheduled to meet in Nashville on Friday afteroon. Jim
They all told you the best places. Glad to see you here. Hope our paths cross
