ST. Charles verses ST. Louis?

drove in saw a nice up scale hotel in a nice upskale area reserved 2 nights prepaid then realized we were in ST CHARLES NOT ST LOUIS. ooops ON A MAP IT LOOKS ONLY ABOUT 20 mls. away? Pros and Conns to that?

That is the bad thing about new places to visit. and just popping up....do not have time to do much research ughhh

For a while, St. Charles County was the fastest growing county in Missouri (maybe it still is; I'm talking over 20 years ago, and I haven't kept in touch with the demographics since then); mostly due to whites fleeing from encroachment into their neighborhoods by all them darker folks.

But for all practical purposes you're within an easy half-hour drive or so of most of the metro area. I can think of many worse places to be stashed.
