I was told a while back that Tilman's Corner was the best location, but recently have been told otherwise. What is the safest,most convenient location to stay in Mobile?

Stay around airport Blvd and I65,only safe one in Tillman's corner is Hampton inn, holiday inn or express,la Quinta.
