Sophie certainly doesn't do much to support the notion that prostitution is a victimless crime. Human trafficking - kidnapping - false imprisonment all give the hobby a very bad reputation. I've never felt or believed a provider I was seeing was being forced in any way. Maybe I'm naive. Perhaps a more entertaining question for discussion purposes is should we as "insiders" feel compelled to report such issues when and if we encounter them...or is it simply a case of "that's their bad luck"? If you were the person being forced, held against your will, etc...what would you want/hope? Do you want help?"...or is our obligation greater than simply asking. Many people in these situations are probably more afraid of potential reprisals than they are of the forced service, especially if they've been physically abused/beaten as part of their "conditioning." Despite wanting the help, they may well decline. I hope I'm never confronted with this. I honestly don't know how, or to what extent I'd be willing help.
