Yup. I'm not a fan of the Tea Party, but the people who probably could least afford to contribute to campaigns got completely scammed when the big corporate interests of the Republican party got their hooks into it.

The Teaparty had a good thing going for about two weeks then they went off the rails and went after Republican seats and tried a hostile take over. Had they attempted to form their own party like the Constitution party or the Libertarians, they would still be in play. All they did was weaken the GOP enough for Trump to steal the nomination. Whatever happens to then is poetic justice.
