Will LE show you their I.D.?

Entrapment is enticing you to do something you would not otherwise do.

LE is allowed to break the law to catch you. They are allowed to lie. They can even touch you and have sex to catch you. Most Police Departemnts have strict guidelines as to how far their staff can go but its not illegel for a UC to touch you at your request then bust you

Many of this discovery info. would depend on her lawyer of course. Of course if proven the UC would loose the case and possibly his job as well for Malfeasence in office. But without this being proven nobody really worries about it.
all gets back to doing the homework... know your partner, or know someone who does
Ok So I guess then asking for I.D./looking at it good & something from their job/ home bill etc would still be a good practice? Originally Posted by Britney_Jaye_Loves_You

I hear they will even allow an escort to touch them and do some mild services like kissing, hj, massage. You can ask for an ID but LE will most likely have a fake one. The one true way to protect yourself is to screen and get references. If you see newbies, then ask for him to prove he is not LE. If he can't or is unwilling, don't go there.
Ohh, and I can't even remember how many times girls I know have said "a cop has to tell you he's a cop if you ask him." Umm, no they don't. My screening process is long and takes a few days. My thought is that LE will take the quickest target first...and there are many more girls out there with quicker screening than mine.
Honestly, the only value I can see in knowing the cop's name is "outing" him. And for this you'll need to subpoena him. And everyone else involved. If you have the wherewithal, have a photog sitting outside of the courtroom.

Now, this is NOT legal advice, as IANAL, but I was a PI at one point (which means my "advice" is even more worthless, right?). If you are really concerned about getting busted, contact a lawyer a priori and discuss your options. That's information from my corporate lawyer. ("If you're going to break the law, here's the name of a good business criminal defense attorney.")

So know what is accepted practice in the locale you are doing business in. As one can tell from this thread, practices vary by area. On a comical side, it appears that Columbus Vice generally do this only with the high dollar hotties and not the street walkers.

Also, Columbus LE could care less whether they get a conviction or not. Just making your life a living hell for you and outing you to your family, job, etc. is enough to make LE happy. They just want you to quit and move on. As you can see, all the cards are stacked against you.

They may show you their ID just before they slap the cuffs on you.

My question is how many hobbyists would show their ID. I would never show a provider my ID or utility bill period. The last thing I want is my real life getting mixed up with this hobby. That’s why I have a hobby phone and a handle on here that is not my real name. How many of you providers will show a hobbyist your real life ID when ask? I bet not many.
If any activity proceeds to the point where you are in the same room with LE, you are already busted.

Sure, in the end, you might win in court, but you still had to take the ride.

Well they must do things differently in Alabama.
You do realize that hobbyists routinely giving up their real name and address to providers is *not* the norm, and for good reason. If this is really your policy, then you're driving away some quality clientele. Nothing against you, but there are some crazy chicks out there with great reviews. And the fact that they're crazy may only become apparent after they know your real name and address. As much as we try to avoid it, the hobby has no shortage of drama.

There is one scenario in which I concede it would be necessary to see the hobbyist's ID, and that's when dealing with a guy who lacks references.

Otherwise, if you're going to insist on seeing my ID, be prepared to show me yours.

When a client is from overseas why not ask for their passport? It is highly illegal to fake another nations passport and can cause a huge international shit storm if it was found out leos did this.
