How Houston got it's name- did ya know?

It seems Houston got it's name from Sam Houston while he was in dispute with a peer from Ohio. Imagine that... lol.

local government vs. national representatives

accusations of collusion with the White House

accusations of grand standing for marketing purposes

call for censorship

no real resolve

no justice

no diplomacy

no winner

just a bunch of embarrassment, loss of respect, anger, stress and drama for both sides which decreased the quality of the system in history and the lives of all involved.

The amazing thing is he was originally a Yankee and the only politician to be Governor of 2 states; the other was Tennessee.
