Deer Park? Really?

So, for reasons of my job I find myself in Deer Park for the day and I gotta say, except for the oil and gas which is a purely temporary resident here, I can find absolutely nothing commendable about this place.

Anyone got any ideas for me?

Go west, young man!

Actually I dated a chick years, and years and years ago that lived just off of Center St.(If you know anything about Deer Park you understand why that is funny if not.....Everyone in Deer Park lives just off Center St)
Anyhow. I looked her up some 20 years later and found out she learned how to give one of the best blow jobs in south east Texas and was still a looker and hornier than ever. If only I had known then what I know now I would have made her the real Mrs. Boardman. That's the only reason I can thinck of to go to Deer Park.
Well, that and her sister was pretty hot too.....

It was a quiet, safe, middle class town with good schools when I grew up there.

Glad I was there then, glad I am not there now. Just not a lot to do other than raise a family.

O K , here's a few..........The San Jacinto monument where there's an amazing sense of Tx history..............The Lynchburg Ferry, a quirky pair of 16 vehicle ferrys that plunge back and forth across the ship channel (free) all day..........At sunset, drive east on Spencer to LaPorte Airport and hire a Cessna for about $75 bucks to take you along the ship channel to the turning basin and back as all the refinery and ship lights are coming on.........And for a cold one after that, west on Spencer to Moments in Pasadena..........

What did you expect, it's a freaking suburb!!!

Ok, leave it to the fluffy girl to mention food first, but Antonio's on Center Street is fabulous for small town Italian food.

There are a couple of local drinking establishments but I think Deer Park itself is still dry so you have to travel just to the outskirts to Pasadena or LaPorte, but on Spencer Hwy where LaPorte meets Pasadena/Deer Park, you will find couple of good places to hang out.

Deer Park is famous for their pretty, young girls. If you head west (from Center Street) on San Augustine around 2:30pm you might just be able to catch cheerleader practice (OMG, did I really just say that?)
