WHAT DOES THE NEW MAYOR MEAN FOR THE HOBBY?

As we all know Houston has a new mayor .. Each mayor and his appointees have each had an effect on the hobby ..Just curious if any of you foresee any positive or negative changes

They're politicians who bought their way into office...why would anything change?

The law against prostitution didn't change...why would anything change?

I voted, but my vote had nothing to do with the impact it would have on an illegal activity...

Property tax will increase. This will result in less disposable income for taxpayers, and less money for hookers. More working people will decide to move somewhere outside the city's taxing authority. This will draw hookers further outside the loop.

But the vunnables won't get dinged.

In other words, SNAFU.

The good times rolled under Mayor Lee Brown, 1998-2003. Escape and Wildfower hay days. Then miserable cock sucker Bill White took office and brought in a CoP from Arizona. Shit hits the fucking fan and never been the same since. So under a new AA mayor maybe the city will let us citizens fill the hooker holes while they fill the pot holes.

But I doubt it.
Hopefully Sly is down for peeps getting nuts whenever they can!!!!

According to a letter in the mail he is gonna bring back homos in the restroom law. I got three flyers in the mail with that little girl lookin all surprised in the stall from that commercial. Anyway I expect no changes. They have been pushing that we all are a bunch of Chesters with that average age of a hooker being 14 shit for a few years.

I just wish we could get some Colorado type laws down here.

Don't know about the hobby but 2 lefty mayors in a row and I see the city headed down the same path of so many failed cities, ever more debt, ever more spending, ever more corruption, ever higher taxes, and business start to move out instead of in.

that is what happens when Democrats run things and they run out of other peoples money.

Look what happened to Detroit, Chiraq & Baltimore. Give him one term to show it will be an end to an error, just like Obungo...

Well "Vivid", the old Penthouse off of Westheimer is no longer "covered". I guess they came up with enough cash.

Beautiful club but not enough talent.

October 2015, Houston residents will get the largest city tax cut in years, as the revenue cap voters imposed a decade ago begins to have its first noticeable impact on the city budget.

The City Council on Wednesday unanimously adopted the new property tax rate, about 60 cents per $100 of home value, down from about 63 cents. The new rate is the lowest since 1987.
