Update Photobucket Account

So I'm seeing this "update photobucket account to enable third party hosting" not just here but on a bunch of other forms I read. I'm not techy at all. Does it mean I have to pay for photo bucket to see these pics now? I think the websites that are being victimized by this better find another way to post pics. I couldn't figure out Photobucket as it was.
