Things to do, best places to eat?

Tell me please, what are some fun things to do and the best places to eat in Maryland? I grew up in Silver Spring, but relocated to Atlanta 8 years ago, so I know a lot has changed. Thanks peeps!

Caylee! Sad I missed you this time around! Next time you're back check out National Harbor, it has really been built up. And, Baltimore now has some table games at new casinos, Horseshoe is supposed to be nice. And if you're in rockille, the Pike & Rose development has good shopping and nice restaurants!

Did you find any good spots to eat... . I'm moving to the DC area at the beginning of the year from Houston..... So I don't know anything about it yet. I'm excited though. I'll be living there probably about a year.
