CCP VS. USA

In wars, men die.

President Trump has taken bold and decisive steps to stop the spread of the Wuhan virus across America. In doing so, he has become a wartime president. But the enemy he is fighting is the Chinese Communist Party. Long before this crisis, the CCP was waging political and economic war against the United States. The Wuhan virus is merely another weapon in this war. As a nation we need to understand this immediately, since the first casualty has been the material well-being of the American people.

...

Although it is not the position of our government that the CCP was behind the creation and weaponization of the Chinese virus, we need to at least entertain the notion that a nation that has, in the recent past, killed tens of millions of its own people would not think twice about killing thousands or even millions of other peoples from other countries if it meant putting them in a greater strategic position and helping them fulfill their objective of a communist world order

...

We need to take reasonable measures to prevent the spread of the virus. But the President needs to get Americans back to work as soon as possible. In wars men die. This war with the CCP is no different. As precious as we Americans believe each life is, this is about our freedom and our economic ability to defend that freedom. That will only happen when we are back to work and building the industrial capacity that will free us from Communist China. This can happen none too soon.

As far as China is concerned, the end justifies the means of which they tried to do.

the only way they can be top dog on this planet is to weaken the West and USA. there can be only one major power at time.

its possible that we are seeing a replay of the punic wars. if that's not a good analogy, let me know what it is.

Says One who worships Fidel, Che , and other mass murderers.

and their apologists - as Bernie - because they might have taught a few Cubans to "Read"!.

of course - that mandates complete forgiveness and fealty to the Fascist DPST's intent on their instituting Socialist totalitarianism in America.

As kalifornia is their "Model'!

Go live in cuba or venezuela - it fits the MB well!

Some of the manufacture of cheap plastic toys, clothing and the like has moved from China to Vietnam, Bangladesh, etc.

Trump isn't primarily to blame for our shortage of masks, tests, drugs and the like. Europe is struggling with the same problems. But he didn't help. Perhaps someone like a George H. W. Bush would have had the foresight, and through his experience as director of the CIA and Vice President, the trust in our intelligence agencies and medical experts that would have resulted in a different outcome, like what's happening in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore right now. Who knows.

In any event we had an economy running at full steam, in part because of Trump's corporate tax cuts and deregulation, and full employment. We didn't have the people to manufacture toys and clothes in the USA. We did have the resources, if guided by government, to manufacture goods that are essential in the time of a national emergency. That didn't happen, at least as far as pandemics are concerned.

the only good thing about is that American manufacturing is moving out of china to avoid the high tariffs to other countries more friendly to USA.

china needs to be cut down to size. if that means more humiliation for them, so be it.

Sounding like a Biden apologist, Tiny.

Trump closed the China border 10 days after the first case in the US.

What basis do you have for allegation that the CDC and FDA would "bungle"???
Given the enormity of the decision to shut down the economy - some deliberation time was necessary.

particularly in a country dedicated (so far) to individual freedom.
